On July 1st at 7 p.m. kim? continues the summer season with an opening of exhibitions by Swedish artist Ida Pettersson, Belarusian photographer Andrei Liankevich and "Susan Sontag's camp cinema".
During the opening - musical performance by dj Alise Ģelze!

1st floor:
Ida Pettersson. "The Vegetable Lamb and Other Ravishing Stories From the Past"
The project underlines different myths, stories and scientific discoveries from various eras and parts of the world. The artist’s main interest is a research of historical myths, legends and scientific observations and especially facts that afterwards have been recognized as mistaken or false. Pettersson's works include photography, sculpture and drawings.

Andrei Liankevich. "Paganism"
Exposition features around 30 black-and-white photographs depicting pagan culture that is still present in rural areas of Belarus.

“Susan Sontag's camp cinema”
The exhibition is 28 days long film session,of film pairs, selected by artists, curators and theoreticians. The exposition has been organized applying the phenomenon of the USA motion picture industry in the 20th century 1930s – a double bill principle when cinema theaters would exhibit two films for the price of one. The central notional aspect of the exhibition is camp - the term which has been made actual by Susan Sontag.
