Conference “Classical Heritage and Its Interpretations”

March 24 - 25, 2011,  the doctoral conference organized by the Art Academy of Latvia titled “Classical Heritage and Its Interpretations” will take place at the premises of KIM? Contemporary Art Centre.

Programme of the event will offer different readings by emerging and already experienced art theoreticians and artists. Conference report themes are devoted to different aspects of the history of art in Latvia and the world, researches in photography, design, art technologies as well as semiotics and issues related to the contemporary art etc.

The official language of the conference is Latvian. The event will be open to the public. Free entrance.
