Performance "Opening the Poem"

On March 18, 2011, at 7 p.m. kim? invites to attend performance “Opening the Poem” by poet and artist Ernesto Estrella (ES / USA).
                   
In the performance the voice confronts poetry reading as an act of opening. The programme includes poems belonging to the Hispanic tradition, a recorded and live interaction with English, Spanish, Russian and Finnish contemporary texts, and a triptych on the idea of the poem as a gift. Opening the poem means here displaying its creative process through sound towards an experience that turns the listener into a threshold, and the ear into the stage where a bond can appear.

Programme of the performance:
First part - rendering of poem “Tertulia Lunática” by Uruguayan poet Julio Herrera y Reissig;
Second part - “Listen”. With live performance by poet, photographer, coordinator of the project “Polutona” and poetry festival "Slowwwo" Pavel Nastin (Настин, Russia, Kaliningrad) and poet, artist Jelena Glazova (Latvia) and recordings by composer Marcelo Toledo (Argentina) and poet Amy Hosig (USA);
Third part - “Timeo Danaos et dona ferentis”: I. Giving, II. Receiving, III. Opening
