GDR library project was started in 2009 and it was inspired by the book of American author Dolores Hayden - The Grand Domestic Revolution: A History of Feminist Designs for American Homes, Neighborhoods, and Cities (1981). GDR is not created as a classical library – it is located in apartment, so it’s content and development depends not only on it’s creators, but also on it’s inhabitants in a particular moment - their ideas and activities.

Casco was founded in 1990 in Utrecht, the Netherlands, as a platform for experimental art. Since 1996, Casco has developed a critical program exploring art in the public realm, questioning the relation between art and it’s physical, social and political environment.

Continuing the whole event, everyone is invited to enjoy the conversations the kim? library with another glass of wine.
