kim? contemporary art centre in Riga collects advices like this, as starting to make a library for the contemporary art, theory and experimental text.

kim? library is planned as a quickly growing base of materials, approachable for every visitor and focused on text, art criticism, theory and their possible variations in the practice of contemporary art (books of  art theory, exhibition catalogues, albums of artists, manifestos and other accompanying texts), as well as different publications, that have become chrestomathic (including bibliographic rarities), concentrating on the art history, theory, poetry, philosophy and paralely touches the problems of architecture, design, music, and other spheres in arts of the 20th and 21th century. The book offer will cover Latvian, English, German, Russian as well as other languages.

kim? choices for the upcoming library are based on the consultations and discussions with the professionals of the arts field, from Latvia and abroad, whom we respect and in whose opinion we trust.

kim? library is being set up in cooperation with the advertising agency DDB Latvija, kindly asking everyone, who wants to concgratulate it with the 15th anniversary in Latvia, to become "godparents" of the new kim? library, donating their own chosen amount of money for buying books for the library collection.
