The British Council in collaboration with Association “Knowledge and Innovation Society” (ZINIS) invites to take part in the competition for organizing a "Future City Game". Until 18th October the municipalities, NGOs, commercial companies, as well as informal society groups can submit their applications to get a chance to hold the "Future City Game" on the topic they are interested in their own area. To know better the rules of the game, potential stakeholders are invited to attend informative seminar in Riga (22nd September), which is held in cooperation with Spīķeri - creative industries quarter.

The Future City Game enables people to find solutions to the long-term challenges facing cities. It is played during a two-day event by city inhabitants from diverse backgrounds, representing various disciplines and led by a trained games-master. The aim of the game is to generate the best idea on how to improve the quality of life either in a specific area within a city, the city as a whole, or in response to the common challenges facing cities around the world.

You are invited to attend informative seminar on the British Council's method of "Future City Game", which will take place in Riga in 22nd September at 11:00 Spikeri, "kim?" premises, Maskavas iela 12 / 1, 3rd floor.

Please apply by sending your name and contact information to e-mail: fcg@zinis.lv. For more information please contact Vita Brakovska (29203533).
