18 June was the deadline for kim? Summer Schools applications, which turned out to be by far more than initially expected – kim? received 292 applications – 203 youths applied for the Photo Summer School and 89 youths applied for the Video Summer School. In order to receive an offer of a place at either of the schools the applicants were not expected to have any prior experience or access to equipment, the evaluation of the applicants were based on their interest in photography or video art, urge to learn or improve their artistic and technical skills, as well as their ability to show all of this in their personal statements.
