kim? has undertaken collaboration with HIAP (Helsinki International Artist-in-residence Programme) which will result in various artist residence programmes, as well as international contemporary art exhibitions both in Riga and Helsinki.

HIAP is the largest international residence centre in Finland and the only one operating in the capital. HIAP’s work is focused primarily on the Visual Arts and is open to artists from various disciplines; however, residences are also offered for curators, dancers, choreographers, writers and researchers within several special programs. Currently it is possible to apply for Mid-Career Laboratory Residencies at HIAP which are aimed at art professionals with at least 15 years of experience. In 2010 and 2011, there will be six residences each lasting two to three months. All Nordic and Baltic artists and art professionals (curators, researchers and other art practitioners) are eligible to apply.
