16 to 22 year old youths, who are not afraid to stain their hands with paint, wish to work alongside a professional artist and understand that an exhibition cannot be created overnight, have the chance to take part in education programme “Assistant”. The assistant will help an artist to prepare for his or her exhibition at kim? by carrying out both big and important, as well as small, but no less important tasks, thus becoming the artist’s right-hand man until the opening of the exhibition. The assistant will gain new knowledge and irreplaceable experience, but not financial reward.


Maija Kurševa “He Will Go In The Opposite Direction” (2009)

Currently it is possible to apply for artist Maija Kurševa’s (1981) assistant’s place. The artist has started working on her exhibition that will be showcased at kim? during Programme No. 14 from 6 August until 5 September. The artist is making prints in screen printing technique and is looking for a responsible, inquisitive and industrious assistant for June and July!
